GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — For many Coloradans, camping is the ‘go to’ activity for Memorial Day weekend.
Thankfully, COVID-19 won’t shake up your camping plans too much because Colorado’s camping ban has been lifted. But, as always, camping, especially with an RV — requires preparation.
We reached out to the folks at Humphrey RV of Grand Junction and Montrose to see what tricks they have up their sleeve when it comes to RV camping for this unique memorial day weekend.
The advice has one common theme, it all emphasizes planning– and knowing the area you are in.
“Fill your water tank, run your heater, run your fridge… all those things well before you leave town.” – Humphrey RV
Though Governor Polis has allowed state campgrounds to open– keep in mind that some individual counties and areas are choosing to stay closed. Make sure you do your research before heading out, and stay safe, and distanced from others.
