The motorhome is parked at Thousand Trails Lake Minden RV Resort in Nicolaus, California. I’m scheduled to depart here November 7th.

Yesterday I stumbled upon the fact that Peggy Sue Gerron passed away at 78 years on October 1st.

You remember Peggy Sue whom Buddy Holly sang about so many years ago back in 1957…

In my many years of travel, I’ve met many interesting people. Back on November 9th of 2012, I spent the afternoon at the home of Peggy Sue. You can read my blog post about that visit by clicking this link…

I enjoyed my visit with her…she told me many interesting stories during my visit.

I know we all have to go sometime. It got me thinking that in less than six weeks I turn 78…. Hmmmm.

It’s said “only the good die young”… so I guess and hope that means I’ve still got a few more years left in me.  🙂

I hope you enjoyed the photos!

Forecast for today is mostly sunny and 76 degrees.

Enjoying nice weather is another joy in the life of a full-time RVer!
