Meet Tom -A Positive, Strong-Willed Vandweller – A Life of True Freedom-INTERVIEW ONLY- NO TOUR

Today we meet Tom (THERE IS NO TOUR- JUST THE INTERVIEW)-He has lived on wheels for over 18 years– yes, you read that right, 18 years!! Now listen to this, in that time he has lived in 143 different vehicles! He operates under the philosophy of buying a cheap vehicle, repair whatever is required and keep it running for as long as you can, then sell it and buy another vehicle. Of course, you have to be a pretty decent mechanic to make it work, but not an expert, just able to learn what you need to do as it comes up–Youtube makes that possible! Here is the really remarkable thing, almost none of those 143 vehicles cost him more than $800, and generally, the less it cost, the better it was and longer it ran–go figure! Hopefully, you’ll find some inspiration, good ideas, or at least some entertainment from Tom’s story!

Great interview. For an "old gal" travelling alone in her small motorhome, it would be great to find Tom on the road should I have a mechanical problem. I love to be able to do things myself, but age and agility have slowed that philosophy down. If he is of a mind, he may put himself out there as a mobile mechanic. I have heard good things about other mobile mechanics, and his attitude and skills would definitely place him in with the top dogs now offering their mobile services. I wish him the best whichever the way he goes.

Well, you have property in Virginia and Tennessee; that’s a lot of property tax every year: I think I’ll get some land in those beautiful states ‼️👍🇺🇸

"I mean theoretically there is no such thing as a bad day because you wake up everyday, and if you wake up everyday that's just the beginning." That hit me like a ton of bricks. I literally said 'wow' out loud when I heard him say that. That was highly insightful. Wise words to live by, that's for sure!

Brother Tom is dropping truth pearls here. Wonderful attitude to live life by and a reminder to us all 🙏🏾🙌🏾 'there's no such thing as a bad day, because if you wake up, that is always a beginning' – mind, 🤯🤯

Oh it's so nice to meet you Tom. You should join us in Parker Arizona for the annual van build in November haha. So happy you two found each other. It makes me Google to see how so many worry about how they will make it in a van. That's funny to me because you have no bills haha. This is the life, I've only been doing it for 3.5 years but I really really love it. I'll go check out your channel Tom. Hi Bob. We are not bums haha. I am also a cancer survivor and I'm fighting lung cancer but I am LIVING EVERYWHERE.
