Hey….great videos. I enjoy them very much. I would love to see your opinion or video on the Ram 2500 with optional factory auto-level rear air ride suspension. I have the vehicle…pulls like a dream on the hitch but I have not ever pulled in the gooseneck/5th wheel position. Thanks for your very informative videos.

Trucker here….pulling and hauling heavy is of no concern to me.

Thanks much for the info!! I'm planning on retiring in a couple of years and planning on getting a GMC Sierra Denali. Getting a Riverstone 39RBFL which weighs 19,060 and 43ft long so thinking I should get a 3500 long box dually, that should do the job !

One cool thing, at least I think, is when you start off you hear hear sucking in the air big time… reminds me of the big military truck (loadstar 20t) that we had at the Team.

Love the channel, been very informative. Would you be able to look into the new ram 2500 with its coil spring rear suspension, especially when it comes to towing a 5th wheel or gooseneck.

Loved this video. It brought up a couple of questions in my mind. 1. You said the Denali was short bed? I was wondering if you could tow a fifth wheel with a 'short bed' (I know they vary some in length). If so… How can you calculate the length of bed needed for any given fifth wheel? Also do you have any experience with a sliding hitch or with the sidewinder hitch? Thanks in advance!

So just pulled my trailer 1500plus kms on a week long adventure. I figure leaving, trailer loaded was around 6000lbs conservatively. This with a 2017 Titan Half ton. (Yes below tow rating)On way home I may have had more weight due to full grey and 2/3 black. And equally full water tank. Many a time (driving back in dark) I had to double check to make sure trailer was still back there. I was impressed as it was a long haul. I averaged between 19 and 21 litres per 100k depending on terrain and elavation and hovered around 2000 2500rpm even on steep grades.

Sorry, but that's not a huge 5th wheel… if anything, that's about average. A triple axle toy hauler over 40ft with a rzr or jeep inside… that'd be a "huge" fifth wheel…

I’m concerned that trailers this sized towed by a pickup, driven by someone that has little to no training on anything that size. These things are the size of semi trucks now . At least trucks drivers have training and a license to drive something that big. I cringe every time I get past by one of these and those giant toy haulers.

I chose a 2017 Ram Drw 4:10 HO Cummins due to your recommendation for my 10K TT. It rocks and is very enjoyable towing! Thanks! Plus it has an 8ft bed so my quad fits in the bed.

I give that truck the ugliest interior and mirror trophy right now! UHG> and too much plastic, and what is hanging off of the back of the upper cab? Looks like a fake piece of plastic to me.

Gee I wonder why they aren't showing ANY with the new gas engine. It must really suck if they won't show it to the press at all. I figured they would take pride in their new engine purpose built for this all new platform.

Good video showing the new GMC and a large 5th wheel. In my experience, the numbers on the stickers are a starting point. To get the actual numbers I would like to see the weights from a Cat scale. My Cedar Creek listed the pin weight as 1800 pounds in the specifications. Our actual pin weight when loaded for camping is 2680 pounds. So glad I purchased a 3500 SRW over a 2500. I do suspect a large portion of the increased pin weight is the Trail Air pin box. Since this is an optional item, it wouldn’t be included in the original specs.
